داخلہ
Admission to this school is free. There is nothing to pay at any stage — not to enrol, not to sit examinations, and not as a fine.
Parents in Multan are used to the phrase “free education” arriving attached to a registration charge, a paper fund, an examination fee or a monthly contribution. So it is worth being exact.
As a Foundation Assisted School of the Punjab Education Foundation, this school is prohibited from charging tuition, admission money, examination fees or fines. That is a condition of our partnership, not a concession we offer. Our funding comes from PEF on precisely that basis.
There is also no admission test for entry classes. A child joining Play Group, Nursery or Prep is not assessed for selection. For children joining Class II and above we do a short placement check, but its purpose is to decide which class the child belongs in, not whether to accept them.
If anyone — staff member or otherwise — asks you for money in connection with your child's admission or schooling, report it at the school office at once and to the Punjab Education Foundation directly.
داخلے کے سلسلے میں کسی بھی رقم کا مطالبہ فوراً دفتر میں رپورٹ کریں۔
The whole process is done in person at the school office and usually takes one visit.
Shah Shams Darbar Road, Bawa Safra, Street No. 2, Multan. Come during working hours; no appointment is required. If it is easier, telephone first on 061-4502276 and we will tell you what to bring for your child's class.
The form is given to you at the office at no charge. Staff will help you fill it in if you would prefer — nobody is turned away for difficulty with paperwork.
See the list below. If a document is missing, tell us rather than staying away; in most cases the child can begin attending while it is arranged.
A brief reading and arithmetic check so the child is placed in the right class. There is no placement check for Play Group, Nursery or Prep, and this is not a selection test.
You are told the class, the section, the teacher's name, school timings and what uniform is required. Your child can normally begin the next working day.
| Class | Usual age on entry |
|---|---|
| Play Group | About 3½ to 4½ years |
| Nursery | About 4 to 5 years |
| Prep | About 5 to 6 years |
| Class I | About 6 years |
| Class II–V | By previous class passed |
| Class VI–VIII | By previous class passed |
| Class IX | Having passed Class VIII |
| Class X | Having passed Class IX; Board registration required |
Ages are a guide. A child who has been out of school for a period is placed by ability rather than strictly by age — please talk to us instead of assuming a child is too old to return.
Missing a document? Come anyway. We would rather begin the admission and help you arrange the paperwork than have a child sit at home waiting for a B-Form.
Punjab schools run an academic session that begins in April, after annual examinations in March. That is the natural point to enrol, and most admissions happen in the weeks before it.
We do, however, admit children through the year wherever a seat and a sensible class placement exist. A family that arrives in the neighbourhood in October should not wait until April.
For Class IX and X the timing is tighter, because BISE Multan registration and examination deadlines apply. If your child is entering the Secondary section, come as early as you can.
| Period | What happens |
|---|---|
| March | Annual examinations; results and promotions |
| April | New academic session begins — main admission intake |
| June–August | Summer vacation, as notified by the department |
| Through the year | Admissions accepted where seats allow |
| Session dates | TO CONFIRM for the current year |
Yes. No admission fee, tuition fee, examination fee or fine. This is required of us as a PEF Foundation Assisted School, and it applies to every class from Play Group to Class 10.
The school is co-educational. Girls and boys study here under the same teachers and the same syllabus, with separate washroom facilities and seating arrangements appropriate to age.
Not for Play Group, Nursery or Prep. From Class II upward there is a short placement check to decide the correct class. It is not used to refuse admission.
Bring them. Children who start late or return after a break are placed by ability. This is common and we deal with it regularly.
The Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education, Multan, for Matriculation in Classes IX and X. The school handles Board registration.
Tuition and school charges are free. For the current position on books, stationery and uniform, ask at the office — TO CONFIRM.
Yes, and you should. Walk in during working hours, look at the classrooms and ask the staff whatever you want to know. PEF's open-door policy exists for this.
Most of our students walk from the surrounding streets. Transport arrangements: TO CONFIRM.
